AmeriCorps
AmeriCorps is a network of national service programs, made up of three primary programs that each take a different approach to improving lives and fostering civic engagement. Members commit their time to address critical community needs like increasing academic achievement, mentoring youth, fighting poverty, sustaining national parks, preparing for disasters, and more. Volunteer Generation Fund is a program authorized by the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act to support voluntary organizations and state service commissions in boosting the impact of volunteers in addressing critical community needs.

Volunteer Centers of Iowa is a statewide network of Volunteer Centers located in numerous communities across Iowa. The mission of the Volunteer Centers of Iowa is to enable participating Volunteer Centers better meet the needs of their communities and promote volunteerism through information exchange, collaboration and support.

The Iowa Center is a program whose mission is to empower Iowans with the potential to succeed as they pursue opportunities for financial success. The Iowa Center coordinates state and federal grant programs for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.
